Friends of Forks Animals (FOFA) has been active in the Forks community since the early 1990's. FOFA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization relying solely on donations and fund raisers to support our programs.
The volunteers of our organization . . .
- promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership
- provide financial assistance for the care of animals in Forks and surrounding areas
- provide financial assistance for animal's medical care including spay/neutering
- educate the public about the care and welfare of animals
- ultimately reduce the need for euthanasia
Friends of Forks Animals has worked in the field of rescuing pets and getting them to forever homes for the past 18 years. Due to limited animal control and overpopulation of pet in the West End of Clallam County, we have developed an on-going, successful rescue program.
OUR MISSION
Friends of Forks Animals mission is to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted cats and dogs by providing a local, low-income spay/neuter assistance program, thereby reducing the need for euthanasia. We also provide limited medical assistance and food to needy pets in the area. We have a membership of 45 dedicated members, both active and inactive.
If you share our love of animals, please consider becoming a member of FOFA!
